I’m just back from another incredible week at St. Damien’s Pediatric hospital in Haiti, where I worked as an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist (UZIT). Read Keely Garfield’s full report here. When I went for the first time, in December, I met Peterson, a charismatic, feisty 12-year old boy who took our children’s yoga class. He was chained to a big oxygen concentrator that needs to stay plugged into the wall for electricity.
